Tips to Care for Canary Bird Lifespan

Here are some important things or tips you can do to help your birds keep safe and healthy in order to increase its life span.

  • One of the major dangers for birds as fumes from the chemical products. Aerosal sprays, Teflon pans and even such things as furniture polish can kill your lovely bird. Keep anything that has strong odor away from your bird and make sure that you provide your bird with a proper ventilated area. Even while cooking in kitchen, be sure to keep your bird away from them.
  • Pet canary bird loves to chew on things and will in fact chew on anything they can find whether it is good or bad. It is very important not to let them chew anything that is welded, as it can get lead poisoning from the slaughter in the joints. You should make sure that the plants that you grow in your yard are not poisonous, since your canary can nibble on them.
  • You need to be very careful, when you leave your bird free to roam. In addition, ornaments tinsel, and electric lights may attract your pet canary, but it could be very dangerous for him to chew on.
  • When you allow your canaries to fly around your house and have fun, you must think of his safety first. You should make sure that your windows are closed and bird does not get out of the house.
