American Kennel Club (AKC) Dog Titles
Dogs can compete for 22 different titles under AKC competitions. When a dogearns a title, it has letter code abbreviations added to its official name.

A Dual Champion has earned two of following three titles: Champion (CH), FieldChampion (FC) or Obedience Trial Champion (OTCH). These titles can be combinein any manner to earn Dual Champion (DCH) status. A Triple Champion (TCH) hasearned all three titles. Future guidelines may also add the Herding Champion (HCH)title to these combinations as well.
