• At first arrange for a good warm place to reside. You can get a card board box as their home.
• For the comfort of the puppies and also to avoid staining of your carpet, you may line the bottom of the box with puppy pads. The surface of the puppy pads should be made up of an absorbent material.
• Apart from the puppy pads you can also line the bottom with inexpensive but soft towels.
The puppies should also be cleaned on a regular basis. You may use a warm wet towel to rinse their body. Do not have to use soap as their body would be licking them clean. Make sure that the puppies remain indoors for the first few weeks of their birth.
