Aquarium barb fish are a member of cyprinidae family. They are usually found in every continent excluding South America. 4. Tinfoil barb fish: This fish should be kept in large group as they feel stress if kept in small group. This type of barb fish should be kept with larger species of fish as they can harm small fishes.
5. Striped barb: The body of this fish is long in comparison to other barb fish. This fish come in yellow color with black horizontal lines on it. This fish require enough space to reside.
