dog-are-you-feeding-me-contaminated-foodOther than meat extracts the dog foods contains vegetable fibers, grain extracts and chemicals. The vegetable fibers are mainly extracted from the grounded corn cobs, corn husks, peanut hulls and such. These vegetable matters are in reality condemned for human consumption as they are nutrition less. The ingredients used for manufacturing dog commercial food are in most cases contaminated with bacteria, debris, molds and odors. The corn and the wheat that are commonly used in the pet food may be allergic for many breeds of pets.

The food is generally steamed in order to make it free from bacteria which eventually results the destructions of both the bacteria and the useful heat sensitive minerals and vitamins. Some synthetic vitamins though sometimes are introduced to the food but in most cases the vitamins gets lost during the processing of the food.

In spite of treating the food to make is from bacteria the finished products many fished food products contain traces of disease causing bacteria named salmonella.

Very few commercial food products are free from chemical contamination. The meat extracts that are derived by the beef, poultry and other firm animals are most fed with food that contains heavy doses of chemicals. Some of the chemicals are quite strong to develop the animal to attain the ideal weight for slaughter prematurely. The animals also contain a lot of pesticides as they mainly feed on the herbs that are treated with pesticides. The firm animals are subjected to daily dosage of antibiotics as well. The antibiotics are mainly given to the animals that are very sick and hardly have the resistance capacity to fight against the attack of disease. Antibiotics are also given to those animals that are exceedingly stressed due to heavy physical work. The animals in the slaughter house are given doses of antibiotics as otherwise they would be highly prone to getting attacked with epidemics. Epidemics are quite common in slaughter houses as the animals are subjected to stress and over crowdedness. The eggs, meat and milk of these animals get contaminated due to over dosage of immune suppressing chemicals.
