Herbal Remedies for Dog Odor
• You may treat your dog with a mixture of Goldenseal and Myrrh tincture. The mixture should be diluted in water. This remedy is to treat bad mouth odor. Goldenseal is also useful for treating various intestinal diseases and skin problems.
• Mix extracts of alfalfa to the diet of your dog. The alfalfa acts as a cleanser, nutrient and mineralizer.
• Horse tail grass is good for intake of essential minerals.
• Dandelion, burdock and yellow dock are effective liver cleansers.
While bathing your dog make sure that you use a mild soap. In the water put some drops of lemon grass essential oil, lemon juice or cider vinegar for rinsing the body of your pet dog.
