Parrot Antibiotic

It is crucial that the owner always use the proper physical form of antibiotic as injecting something meant to be taken orally can prow fatal.

By its very nature an antibiotic can have a dramatic effect on living organisms. Due to their potency, negative effects are also possible. Many are toxic unless careful attention is paid to the body-weight/dosage relationship. Some can have side effects which damage organs, while others are safe it given for several days but can cause damage if extended usage occurs.

Very few people still recommend the use of antibiotics as an anti-stress treatment or simply at the lint sign or feeling that the bird is somewhat off his normal behavior. I do think, however, that a reasonable case can be made fin the use of a broad-spectrum antibiotic when a new bird is introduced into the aviary.
