Treating Fading New Born Syndrome
Fading newborn syndrome is quite mysterious. This syndrome causes sudden deaths of apparently healthy puppies. With in few days of their birth the puppies are often found to be dying one after another without any cause. After several clinical tests the main cause has been found to bee lack of nutrients in the mother. Actually there are incidences of several diseases that can cause the fading new born syndrome. The disorders like Sudden Infant Death Syndrome or crib deaths and bacterial infection like the brucellosis are some of the important causes behind the death syndrome. Diarrhea and stress are also responsible for the fading of the young pups.
Since nutrition is the primary cause behind the occurrence of the deaths, you should make sure of feeding your pregnant dog with the food of optimal nutrient value. With consultation of the vet physician add some dietary supplements in order to promote safe pregnancy and lactation. The diet of the dog should contain adequate amount of vitamin C, B-complex, zinc, vitamins A and E and other essential minerals.
If you find that the young pups are getting ill, you must focus on treating their mother. Ensure good health of the mother so that the young pups can wean on optimal diet.
