1. Temperature for tropical tank: it is significant for you to maintain the temperature of the tank when you are keeping tropical fish in it. As these found in warmer area, therefore the ideal temperature for this fish is 74 degrees Fahrenheit to 80 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Heater for tropical fish: Artificial heater is one of the major requirements of this fish. As these fishes are mostly found in warm area, therefore they require heater in the tank to survive. You can purchase artificial heater for your tank from any of the nearby pet shop.

3. Algae scrubber for tropical fish: Algae can prove deadly to the topical fish, therefore algae scrubber is essential for this fish. You should clean the algae from your tank in order to make your tropical fish survive for long. Algae scrubbers are generally very expensive and work only for a month or two. It is advisable to keep your tank away from the direct sunlight as sunlight causes the formation of green algae as well as it burns the tropical fishes also.

4. Food for tropical fish: it is important for owner to provide healthy and balanced diet to his topical fish. Their diet should include 30 to 35 percent proteins, 10 percent fat, low amount of carbohydrates and required amount of amino acids.
