What About Actually Washing My Dog?
Lift your dog into the tub and pour water over it, starting toward the rear. You may need someone to help you hold the dog at first, in case it becomes upset. Thoroughly soak the coat with water. Work the shampoo into the label recommendations. Wash the head last, and take care that the shampoo does not get into the dog’s eyes. Lift the dog out of the rub for a few momenths while you drain away the dirty water. Half fill the tub with clean water, and rinse the shampoo out of the dog’s coat. If there is a convenient faucet, a hand nozzle can be useful for this.
