What one should look for while selecting a puppy?
While selecting a puppy, one should look for some of the following signs of good health in addition to the general characteristics of the breed:
1. The pup should be active, friendly, healthy looking, lively and hungry.
2. Bright clear eyes with no discharge or swelling
3. Pink gums
4. Clean nose without any kind of nasal discharge.
5. Clean ears with no signs of inflammation, discharge or odour.
6. Healthy lustrous coat without any dryness and small scales on the skin, and, of course, without any ectoparasites like ticks, lice and fleas
7. At least medium height
