What Type Of Food Bowls Are Best?
Solid stainless steel bowls are preferable to any other kind. Earthenware bowls are sometimes porous and collect microscopic food particles that make them nearly impossible to clean. Plastic bowls can be chewed and their porosity is a problem as well. Choose a type of bowl that isn’t easily tipped over by the dog, or buy a rack that holds the bowl upright. Long eared dogs are best fed in bowls with small openings at the top to keep their ears from trailing in their food and water.
