When Do Young Poodles Need to be Clipped?
The first clip is usually given at around the age of three months. The puppy may be nervous about the
procedure, and especially worries at the sound of the clippers, but this should soon pass when the dog realizes that it will not be hurt. If you have a pair of electric clippers at home, you can help the puppy become familiar with the noise, by running them just above its coat.
