Fish tanks are vastly being used at places for decorations. Eclipse aquarium is one of the aquariums which are easy to maintain and relatively attractive. Since it has a flat surface therefore it is perfect for any place. This means that it is ideal for any home or office. It is an excellent choice for beginners who don’t want to spend huge money on this hobby.

Eclipse fish tank makes a fascinating show piece for classroom, office and home. It is the safest fish tank and is mostly liked by small children. You can buy this tank from aquarium shops. It has panoramic viewing area, a top mounted three level filtration system to maintain good water quality in the tank and noisy air pumps.

It has a fluorescent lighting which provides light in the tank without giving heat. There is a hood panel which can be easily opened for providing food to the fishes and maintaining the tank’s cleanliness.

The three sizes of eclipse fish tank are- The three gallon system, the six gallon system and the twelve gallon system. Eclipse fish tank requires several equipments to work properly.

The equipments for eclipse fish tank are:

Acrylic aquarium construction is admired by people over the years and in several ways is superior to glass. Acrylic aquarium is lighter in weight then glass, Also strong but don't have joints that can leak. Acrylic tanks are more prone to getting scratches than the glass ones, but acrylic polishing kits are accessible to uphold a perfect view.

Eclipse fish tank has a black plastic cover and a bend front that gives it the look of a more expensive aquarium but actually they are inexpensive as compared to other fish tanks. The acrylic used in the fish tank is clear on all five sides including the bottom and has a minor reveal along the lower edge giving it a sense of balancing. The hood of the eclipse fish tank is simple with smooth lines on it. The hood includes internal fluorescent light at the back of a plastic water barrier and a simple rubber push button light activator that sits glow on the top of the hood.

Fluorescent lights are only used to provide overall ambience to the aquarium. Since it doesn’t provide enough light for aquarium plants therefore it is hardly recommended by people. The back of the hood contains plastic pop-out accessory port cover that allows a place for heater cords or air stone tubing to exit the tank.

The size of the filter changes according to the model. The three gallon system requires 35gph filter, 75gph for the six gallon eclipse and 150 gph for twelve gallon system. Since the pump filter of eclipse fish tank is situated under the hood and behind the hatch therefore the only way to use it is to remove the hood completely. Bio wheel provides additional surface area for beneficial nitrifying bacteria to live. It helps in creating the most absolute and accurate ecosystem possible.

Generally an eclipse fish tank is a good choice and makes a nice gift. It is more excellent for someone new to the hobby or anyone who wants a simple and attractive aquarium.
