Alternative Horse Therapy
Horses also suffer from aches and pains but they can’t tell their pain to humans so there are some alternative therapies designed for horses to help horse to have healthy and productive life. The several alternative horse therapies are mentioned below:
- Acupuncture:
Acupuncture has become an increasingly applicable diagnostic device for horses. The therapy consists of careful placement of hygienic needle on certain parts of the horse’s body to make the horse more healthy and productive. This treatment needs close monitoring by the owner to observe the joints of the horse’s body that needs the treatment.
- Chiropractic Therapy:
Chiropractic therapy of horse is similar to the chiropractic therapy of humans. This treatment needs close monitoring to the horse’s body to manipulate and maintain its flexibility. It is vaccinated only after the close monitoring on the horse’s body to improve the performance of the horse.
- Massage therapy:
Just like humans horses also suffers from pains and aches. Providing them with a massage can do as much to relieve physical aches as well as mental pains as that results in relaxing the muscle spasm and tense muscles. Regular massages will help your horse to live a healthy and fit life. Homeopathy Therapy :
Homeopathy therapy helps in fighting with various diseases of horse like- wound, tendon, sprain injuries, laminitis, gastric ulcers, colic, indigestion warts, rain rot, and swelling from vaccination. The difference between pharmaceutical drugs and homeopathic remedies is that the former treats the symptoms and the latter treats the cause of the symptoms.
- Aroma therapy:
Aroma therapy uses fragrance to illuminate the mood and health of a horse, alongside people also use herbs in their horse’s diet as an aroma therapy.
- Other Physical therapies:
There are numerous other therapies being introduced to heal problems in a horse. Some of these therapies are known as magnetic therapy, laser therapies, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound, and are often used by veterinarians also.
Frequently horse’s body heals by its own, without any medicines. But when they are treated with natural therapies they take lesser time to cure and make one’s horse healthy and productive.
