They should be provided with collard greens, mustard greens, turnip greens, dandelion greens, escarole, endive, chicory and arugula all should be placed in a proper shallow dish. Iguana should not be provided with animal protein, it may even lead to its death.
  9. Water is also very essential for iguana. Iguana should be given water in a shallow dish or tray.
  10. Proper lighting in the cage should be provided. UVA and UVB light must be provided in the cage.
  11. Electrical connection in the cage should be placed properly. All wiring must be done properly so that the iguana does not reach there.

  2. There should be swinging doors in cage. This door should allow iguana a full access to the cage.
  3. Food and water tray must be cleaned properly. Unclean tray may result in disease to the iguana.
  4. There should be some basking spot in the cage. Basking spot in cage will help iguana to maintain its body temperature by moving around the warmer and cooler areas.
  5. An iguana loves to be up high. Minimum tools should be used to make the cage. This will make the cage natural and more comfortable to iguanas.
  6. The substrate in the iguana cage should be cleverly used. Substrate is a cover used at the bottom of the cage. It should not be toxic, since iguana has a habit of smelling and also the tongue of an iguana is very sticky.

The iguana cage must be larger so that it makes the reptile feel comfortable. The above information will surely help you in providing your iguana with a right cage.
