Owner should purchase the cage with strong body so that it can bear the weight of your pet. It is difficult for some reptiles to stay in terrariums and vivariums because of their size, amount of waste they produced, behavior. Therefore, it should be design according to the size and shape of your reptile so, that a reptile can move, sit and relax properly.

Types of reptile cage

Movable Cage - It totally depends on the person to have a moveable cage or unmovable one. If the cage is required to be moved from time to time then you can have moveable cage otherwise you can go for unmovable one.

Glass cage - One can also provide a glass cage to their reptile. It is quite admired by people because of their striking looks. The glass of this cage should have 5 times the strength of the normal glass. The glass cage must have a secure locking top lid. This cage includes lots of accessories like – heater and lightings. Moreover one can add natural elements like water and plants to enhance its looks. This type of cage is mostly used for keeping lizards, crabs, small snakes and frogs.

Water land tube cage - Water land tub cage is mostly used to keep amphibious pets like – turtle and tortoise. One can easily create natural environment in this cage.

Meshed cage - One can also opt for a meshed cage. The biggest advantage of this cage is that they are lightweight and can also be easily moved or carried to newer places. They are one of the most unpopular travel cages. This type of cage is a good choice for chameleon. One can easily assemble this cage on their own. The wire mesh of this cage should be drawn taught across the edges of the cage. It should have an easy entrance without causing injury to the mesh structure.

Reptile cages are the protective enclosures that are meant to provide housing to the reptiles from other natural elements. It is significant for owner to provide appropriate reptile cage to their reptile in order to make it feel safe.
