Even after the operation you can continue the drug until the appetite of the rabbit comes to normal level. Generally the rabbits loss their appetite after the operation for a few days and hence you should not change the diet of the rabbit during this time. After the operation is over you must inspect the incision at least twice a day – in the morning and evening to make sure there is no infection. If there is any unusual swelling or sign of infection you must take the rabbit to the veterinarian immediately.
