The first thing that you need to consider is a place for the rabbit to stay. Ideally you should keep the rabbit in the house itself. It will not only protect your bunny from other animals but also keep it safe from the harsh weather outside. For keeping the rabbit indoor you should have a rabbit cage. There are so many rabbit cages available in the market of different size and shapes and you have to select the cage for rabbit according to your need.

The first thing that you need to decide is the size of the rabbit cage. This will primarily depend on number of rabbits you want to keep in that cage. The next thing that you should consider is the probable size of the rabbit when it is fully grown up. It is advised that the size of rabbit cages should four times to the size of the full grown rabbit. This is simply because the cage should accommodate the rabbit comfortably and let the rabbit enough space to move and live comfortably. To have an idea of the size that your rabbit will gain when it is fully grown up you should consider the rabbit breed you are having as different breed of rabbits have different size. Depending on these factors you have to select the size of the rabbit cage.

Once you have made the selection of the rabbit cage then you have to make arrangements for the rabbit cage supplies. The cage should have the provisions to give the rabbit food and water. The attachment to provide food and water to rabbit should be fixed properly in the cage to prevent the rabbit from littering the cage.

To maintain the good health and the proper hygiene for your bunny you have to clean the rabbit cage at regular intervals. Preferably every alternative day the cage should be properly cleaned as that will protect the rabbit from any disease and keep the rabbit healthy. Do not keep anything cage that may be unhygienic to the heath of the rabbit as the rabbits have the habit of chewing of everything that they get.
